Staff
Blake
Blake has been in the cabinet business for over 40 years! He has been on the floor, in installations, management, sales and every other aspect of the industry. There are few people who know more than Blake about cabinets, fabrications, and design solutions. Blake is the founder of cabinetsRus.
Diane
Diane and her husband ran their own construction and renovations business for many years. Contractors love working with Diane because she understands the challenges on the ground. Diane has worked as a space solution designer for cabinetsRus for 8 years and is a certified 20/20 designer.
Christine
Christine grew up in the cabinet business and knows it like the back of her hand. She is a qualified 20/20 space solution designer and has been mentored by her father Blake. Christine is able to arrive at creative and unique 3D designs that allow customers to visually see the solution.
French
French is a member of the Musqueam Indian Band who has been in the cabinet business for 25 years. French is a versatile member of our team who deals with many of the ‘unusual’ requests we get for fabrications and refacings. As a certified 20/20 space solution designer he works closely with First Nation Communities to serve their cabinet needs along with the needs of the general public.
James
James started on the shop floor doing basic assembly and shipping. In the last 16 years he has grown his craft to become the overseer of the assembly floor. He has also been trained by the our seasoned fabricators and is now an established cabinet fabricator in his own right. James, working alongside Blake, is able to make unique cabinets for our restoration and retail clients.
Paul
Paul is new to the industry but brings a wealth of business development and business solutions experience. Having led large organizations for many years Paul brings new ideas and solutions to help the customer experience. Paul and Blake are partners in ownership of Cabinetsrus.
Tamara
(Powell River Sales Rep)
Tamara has been working in the building supply industry for 18 years, 14 of which have been focused on all things cabinetry. She comes certified through the Art Institute of Vancouver in Kitchen & Bath design, levels 1 and 2. She and her husband, who has 20 plus years experience in construction, recently opened their own business, TEC Finishing & Kitchen Design, providing Kitchen Design as well as Finish Carpentry services to the Qathet/Powell River region.
Lola
Lola is our residential customer relations and stress relief expert. She is extremely gentle and warm around customers who would like the privilege of meeting her.
